TRJE 148: Occupy Bajingo

This week – Vaginas and Breasts, the Occupy Movements including (occupycoke.com), porn, and way too much talk about politics.

The picture this week is a GPS trace of my walking through the Amazing Maize Maze.  It is interesting to see all the different places we walked.  It was a total of 1.8 miles of darkness, corn and cold.  Absolutely Awesome!  Of course I don’t talk about this at all during the podcast.  Instead I talk about my new iPhone 4s (pronounced fours), it’s ability to track me (not only through a corn maze, but my GF can check up on me), it’s inability to give me head and it’s usefulness along with a whole bunch of other crap.  But don’t fret, in my twitter feed is a couple of links to topless girls.

It’s been a lazy weekend and I’ve spent much of the time watching movies and TV, including The IT Crowd, Middleman, Being Human (season 2), The Guild and others.  All I have to do now is sit naked in a bean bag eating pizza at the same time and I’ll be up to 400lbs in no time at all!  I blogged earlier in the week about the new Harry Potter trailer and how much The Last Airbender sucked.  If you’re too lazy to read (or can’t read) I recap in the podcast.  Of course if you couldn’t read then you wouldn’t have been looking for the blogs or known to read this to know to listen to the … never mind.

Anyway, turns out technology always slows us down at first, until we get used to it. Don’t believe me, check out this video of early tech support when transitioning from the scroll to the book.  Some researchers were shocked to find this out recently concerning books and the iPad/Kindle – guess they’ll never learn.

A must read is the letter from the CEO of Woot to his employees about being purchased by Amazon – it’s a hoot!

TRJE 094: naDevvo’yIghoS

This week Regis Jack talks about the BS over the iPhone 4 Antenna, The new (and ewwww) Green Hornet trailer, Knight and Day, Social Media Noise, a use for Klingon and some other stuff.

trje094

First of all, the proper pronunciation of the title is still under investigation. Second, this whole iPhone 4 antenna issues is BS. Not that it doesn’t exist, but it’s existed with most every phone every created. Hell, I’ve even seen warnings on the phones or in the manuals about where not to hold the phone. The people complaining don’t have anything better to do or the sense to know that issue has existed since anything with antennas have existed. Any way, besides that I do talk about the sick feeling I get when I watch the new Green Hornet trailer, the happy feeling I get with crazy as fuck Tom Cruise (did that sound gay?), the noise of Social media and some other crap along way.

I complained about Social Media sometime last year in a blog titled, “Blogging Hell“. Check it out.

TRJE 088: Flash on the iPhone?

This week Regis Jack talks about Defendor on DVD, Teaching your damn kids about life, the joke of FaceBook privacy and a wee bit of Flash on the iPhone.

flash,iphone,trje088This weeks pictures was provided by a friend of mine.  He didn’t understand the big issue.  Seems Flash on the iPhone works just fine.  I loved it soooo much I had to repurpose it for my own selfish reasons.

This time around I talk about Woody Harrelson in Defendor – I enjoyed his performance and the movie as whole.  It’s definitely not for everyone.  I get on my soapbox, complaining that parents don’t teach kids anything, let alone how to be responsible.  They just keep pushing laws to protect our children.  Let’s baby our kids as much as possible so they cannot survive in the real world.  Next up is my take on FaceBook privacy – which started with this article from Jason Calacanis.
