This week Regis Jack rants about Surrogates with Bruce Willis, Pandorum with Dennis Quaid, Fame with Kherington Payne, TV season premieres, crossword puzzles and other stuff.

It’s official, The Regis Jack Experience is hosting an official Windows 7 Release Party.  The date is TBD, but I will announce next week.  It will be broadcast live over Ustream, come join the fun on whatever date I plan on having it (close to 10/22).  It’s also official, I can’t track mileage as I ran out of gas last week and had to have AAA (not AA – I called them first and they sent out a drunk, but he couldn’t help) bring me gas.

I did watch Surrogates, with new action hero Bruce Willis – a cool film, a little short and somewhat unrealistic, but Bruce made it cool.  Pandorum is a chaotic film about people stranded in space with some creatures attacking the ship – Dennis Quaid does a really good job. If you like this kind of film, as I do, then you’ll like this one.  I was nothing like Event Horizon.  Fame is really not like Event Horizon and Kherington Payne is the bomb. I enjoyed watching her and this film. It’s been so long since Fame was originally released, I don’t know if it was similar, but I assume it was.

I also talk about a whole line of new TV shows and then rant on some crossword puzzles.
