So, I skipped a podcast last week – I did 54 weeks of episodes without a single late show, but did anyone say anything then?  So here it is, better late then never.

I talk about the commentary of Dr Horrible’s Sing-a-long blog (an awesome Joss Weadon production), Big Brother 11, So You think You can Dance, Gene Simmons Family Jewels (the show, not his actual jewels).  And I do rant about some music industry issues and I get off on a few personal rants during the show.

This week Regis Jack rants about a Prius (!?!), movie trailers, top gear, big brother, Roz Savage and other stuff.

While out on vacation, several celebrities died – non of which I talk about – I rented a Toyota Prius which had it’s passenger window shattered by a rock thrown from a lawnmower and I learned that some radio stations play Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” edited for language while others keep playing it the way it is.  Over the 4th I saw 2 sets of fireworks – one medicore one in town and one spectacular one close to Winston-Salem.

Watched some great movie trailers this week: Moon (with Sam Rockwell and Kevin Spacey), Surrogates (with Bruce Willis), The Last Airbender (directed by M.Night Shamalamadingdong), and Daybreakers (with Willem Dafoe).  Also watched The Road to Perdition (on mute), Deadliest Catch, Whale Wars, Top Gear and Better off Ted.

3D movies may turn into holographic movies, Roz is still rowing the pacific ocean and Big Brother starts in a few days!

Oh yes and last but not least, “Some say it’s impossible for him to wear socks. And he can open a beer bottle with his testes. All we know is he’s called the Stig.“

Although I have not seen the new Star Trek, I do talk about Trek and what it means to me (yes I’m a Trekker, or Trekie, or whatever).  I have not seen Wolverine, but I talk about that as well.  Turn out, that The Producers will be playing on stage in Berlin – wow!

It’s 66 days until Big Brother starts again.

To keep everyone interested, I do talk about H1N1 (it’s no longer a big issue), the Presidential flyby of New York, No Pants Ultimate Frisbee and why the Japanese are selling T-shirts that say, “What’s Wrong With Being Naked?”
