TRJE 105: Grilled Cheese
This week, Regis Jack gets kinda political about America and God, but don’t worry – there’s still talk about boobies (thanks to Wil Wheaton).

This week is strange indeed. It starts with a terrifying experience – and NO, I’m not talking about listen to this podcast. The love of my life, my other half, my future fiance – was unhurt in a car accident – she was shaken, not stirred. But this week I do talk about history and how you should research stuff yourself instead of believing me or Glen Beck or The President or whoever. You can’t spell believe without LIE. So I do talk about the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, the Pledge of Allegiance and the phrase “In God We Trust”. But I don’t stop there. I compare Christians and Muslims by comparing the Oklahoma City terrorist attack (by a Christian) and the 9/11 terrorist attack (by Muslims) to show you that it’s Crazy Fuckers we need to worry about. Not the Christians and Muslims. But wait, there’s more – I refer to a Grilled Cheese Sandwich in such a perverse way, you need to hear it to believe it, I talk about Wil Wheaton and finally I go off about Avatar: The Last Airbender the TV series (which is AWESOME).

TRJE 099: M Night Shyamalangadingdong
This week Regis Jack talks about The Last Airbender (sucked), the newest Harry Potter trailer (cool), some unusual British and non-British TV shows, the Paranormal 2 trailer, How the iPhone 4 was built by God and some other stuff.

It’s been a lazy weekend and I’ve spent much of the time watching movies and TV, including The IT Crowd, Middleman, Being Human (season 2), The Guild and others. All I have to do now is sit naked in a bean bag eating pizza at the same time and I’ll be up to 400lbs in no time at all! I blogged earlier in the week about the new Harry Potter trailer and how much The Last Airbender sucked. If you’re too lazy to read (or can’t read) I recap in the podcast. Of course if you couldn’t read then you wouldn’t have been looking for the blogs or known to read this to know to listen to the … never mind.
Anyway, turns out technology always slows us down at first, until we get used to it. Don’t believe me, check out this video of early tech support when transitioning from the scroll to the book. Some researchers were shocked to find this out recently concerning books and the iPad/Kindle – guess they’ll never learn.
A must read is the letter from the CEO of Woot to his employees about being purchased by Amazon – it’s a hoot!

TRJE 091: Three or Four
This week Regis Jack talks about Time, Avatar on BD, a Disturbing movie trailer, StumbleUpon.com, Photographer Richard Kern and Burkittsville, MD and some other stuff.
This week I drone on about how long the week has dragged on (whoo hoo!) – which leads to a 2hr and 47minute blah movie called Avatar. I’m not sure what all the hype is – bland, predictable story, CGI effect much like we have seen in the past – methinks some people never saw a movie before.
The Human Centipede is out in selected cities and while I won’t get to see if for a while, you can search Youtube for a trailer – beware – it’s quite creepy.
I used StumbleUpon.com to fine a myriad of cool and uncool stuff this past week – here is some of the cool stuff I found: Learn to make Reese’s Cheesecake Bars, See a virtual Sistine Chapel, and A totally useless but interesting flash object.
In my search I found a site called Lotusmodern.com where I discovered Ana Lucia as photographed by Richard Kern. You can learn more about Ana Lucia and Richard Kern on viceland.com.
I read an interesting article in the LA Time about Burkittsville, MD – the unwilling “home” to the Blair Witch – 11 years later.
And last, but not least – I talk about Sudoku (exciting isn’t it?)
The picture this week as taken at a local bookstore chain, I love combination of books – “How to Make Love like a Porn Star” just above Helen Keller’s “The Story of My Life”. Click the pic for a better view.
