I finally saw the Watchmen, in 70mm, which included a blue naked dude, some really pissed off dudes, a hot chick, and Max Headroom himself.  It’s a great movie, if you liked the comic – if not – then DO NOT SEE THIS, DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS!  Also, BSG is almost at the end, Adam Lambert is awesome again on American Idol, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon still sucks and Top Gear is the show you should be watching.

I took a trip to StellarCon33 in High Point, NC – a small fantasy/sci fi convention.  Here are some of the links to people I saw, met or liked during my short time there:

I talked to Tony Ruggiero – author of some cool books, vampires in the military and aliens in politics.
Picked up a GravyBoy Comic – about some kid who was supposed to have the power over gravity, but there was an issue.
Met a guy, Alan Welch, who uses PhotoShop to mix images of real people/places to create really cool fantasy pictures (which includes dragons).
Had a discussion with someone from a group called “Talen“.  These people play live action role playing games where they fight with padded weapons.
I spoke to a woman who makes Barretes and Chignons for hair (so couldn’t help me).
I picked up cards from the Winston-Salem Paranormal Society, the Charlotte Area Paranormal Society and a Star Trek club.
And I spoke to an atractive girl who was not in costume and was listening to her iPod.
